Entertainment possibilities that were once just limited to home high-end systems
can now be brought inside the vehicle.
With the maturity of the industry—or because of it—car owners are
looking more and more toward personalizing and creatively customizing their in-car
entertainment. After all, most people consider their vehicles one of their most
prized possessions, and even an extension of their identity. In our extensive
interactions with our customers worldwide, we have identified two basic user needs.
The first is the desire to have their beloved vehicles “stand out from the
crowd,” especially through an entertainment system that offers something
more unique than the usual standardized fare. The second need is the wish to create
a mobile entertainment environment that matches (even exceeds!) that of their
home systems. This second trend is largely driven by the emergence of DVD-based
theatre surround systems that are becoming prevalent in many homes. |
